CHANGE IN BLOGSPOT ADDRESS

Hi all,

In an effort to unwind some of the personal information I have out there in this great big blogosphere, I am changing my blogspot address to the following effectively immediately:

http://thisisthelife-dmn.blogspot.com/

Please update your blog rolls, links, and/or your readers if you have me on one.

It's best this way. Now I need to go through old posts and change my kids names....You know to something catchy like "The Prince" and "The Princess." Not sure what I will call my husband. Maybe "The Man"....Whaddya think?

I am so confused. This is the third url I have changed today. And I think my reader updates it automatically...because this post was there. Along with one about 5th grade boys needing to use deodorant...that is not here at all. Maybe I really do need those meds :-)

Hi Debbie, I think I am confused. I think I already have this blog address. Please let me know if I am wrong. What has changed? What happened? I hope all is well with you and yours. I've been out of the loop. I have not blogged since Tuesday. I needed a break since I had to go back for a second look at my mamagram.....all is well...thanks to the Lord. I am back, but feel like my kids need me more, and I'm slowing the pace a bit. Hugs, Kathi

I like Sugar. Just went through all my links to update the change. Pain but totally worth it. Everyone will adjust quickly.

Good idea. I'll change it on SITS too.

I've updated you, because it's important for me to always be able to find you just a click away.

I'd thought about changing Scott and the girls' names on my posts, but then I remembered...everyone in this small town knows us, and that's not terribly frightening. (Well, some days it is--but not usually.) The internet seems small when compared to the fish bowl that is our life here. So...Libbey & Caroline...yep, that's what I'm sticking with.

Good idea!

All this moving around makes me feel like I need a new address, too. Nah. Way too much work.

Looks like everyone has the same idea! I'm working on a blog makeover and plan to forward mine as well. My brilliant self has our last name AND city in the address... should I just invite everyone to our home for morning coffee too?

Can't wait to see pics of the paint job!

Why is everyone doing this, did I miss something??

I think you and DH (oops almost said his name!) should come up with clever nicknames that fit the kiddos' personalities. Like Darcy's Einstein, Picasso and Trouble...

Just my $.02 from a real life friend who hasn't decided yet whether to jump into the blog world or not. I'm way to easily distracted and side tracked with not enough self control to keep myself from losing too much time to the keeping of the blog.

Anyway, will miss you guys at church this w/e 3+ soccer games and 1 baseball game scheduled at all the wrong times!

Now I'm worried! Hope nothing creepy is happening!

I'm confused too. Did something happen?
I mean...you don't use your last name or list the city you live in. Is this a new trend?
Should we all follow?

I'm a very new blogger, and my husband's concern was and is a privacy issue. So, I've not used our names, put our city and state out there, or our email address.

Oh, and I like "The Man" as you husband's nickname :)

I see what you've been doing!
The sidebar looks great. Are you soooooo genius that you know how to do that yourself?

Thinking about getting a car insurance quote?
Car Insurance
A growing number of people are dropping their auto insurance to try to save money, according to a recent study by the Insurance Research Council (IRC). If the current rate of unemployment continues, the IRC estimates that the national uninsured rate will climb from 13.8 percent in 2007 to 16.3 percent in 2010. With that many people driving without coverage, it's dangerous to be uninsured. But how much car insurance do you really need?
If you're like many people feeling the pinch, your inclination is to get the bare minimum of insurance coverage required by the law in your state. That's a good place to start, though those minimums may not fully protect you -- or your assets -- if you file a claim. We recommend getting more than the minimum coverage unless you are driving a beater and have no assets to protect.
