You know your kids have been spending too much time in your bedroom when they call it "the playroom." Kyle has had a second bout of strep this week so he has been in our bedroom watching Veggie Tales etc. Yesterday he asked me if we could go "up" to the playroom to watch Veggie Tales. I told him the playroom was "down" in the basement. He walked into our room and with a Vannah-White-sweep-of-the-arms he said "No, this is the playroom." Silly me. Of course it is to him...the room is huge, there isn't much furniture, it has a step down sitting area that any kid that walks into this house likes to launch themselves from, and they drag their junk in there everyday. I lament to Bob weekly that we need to make it a "grown-up room"....(step 1 was the new nightstands ;)

had to ask. we still need 1 more to complete our set. i've found them on craig's list - just need to convince pat we need it...right down the road might have been easier...
