"Thanksgiving is a time of quiet reflection...an annual reminder that God has, again, been ever so faithful. The solid and simple things of life are brought into clear focus."
--From one of my very favorite evangelical writers and speakers, Chuck Swindoll.
I am unplugging until the kids go back to school next Monday so I can enjoy my very favorite holiday. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to you!! I was just thinking about you a few minutes ago.
Is it weird for me to "miss" someone that I have never met in real life? Well I miss you.
Praying that you have a weekend full of many blessings.
Gobble, Gobble
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!!!!
p.s. Saw it again tonight...we must discuss it more. After the thankfulness and turkey.

Hope you and yours had a Terrific Turkey Day, Debbie! See ya on Monday!!
I ventured to Tyson's for Black Friday. Am I crazy? Perhaps. Did I get overwhelmed? I think not. Am I immune to disorder & chaos because I'm a high school teacher? Probably. Hope you and your family enjoyed the long, long weekend! BTW, don't forget to tune in to Sx3 today...we've got the Holiday Spirit!
Unplug and reflect on the things that really matter....yea for you!
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! And Merry Christmas, my friend!

Beautiful quote.
I unplugged for a while too...In the words of Martha Stewart, "it's a good thing"...
...and of course, Chuck Swindoll would be one of your favorite evangelical speakers...he's one of mine too! I look forward to your reappearance.
I unplugged too, but now I'm catching up. :)
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Same here. Just plugged back in, so happy belated Thanksgiving! :)
Hey, I'm Sharing Some Linky Love with you over at my place...please come Check. It. Out!
Hi, Debbie, I've been wondering if the Twilight label on this post is because you are thankful for this series of books, or if it's a subtle way to let us know that you are not really at home spending time with the kiddos but instead heading off to see the new movie. :)
And, just One. More. Thing. (I know, I'm being bothersome!) BTW, I'm a finalist for a Pretty Neat Blog Award. Sure would appreciate your vote! Please come by to see me to get the details. Thanks!!
