My Kind of Time Out

Here is the Third Grader all prim and proper :

Here is Hunka Hunka #1 (my son on the left) and Hunka Hunka #2 (his buddy) waiting for the bus on their first day of kindergarten:

So where am I headed now you ask?

To "Time out" of course!

My neighbors know me all too well...
Thanks T-Luh ;)

Note: No need to worry your pretty little heads. No alcohol was consumed before, during, or after the writing of this post. It's the middle of the day for crying out loud. Sheesh. And yes, that is a real bottle of wine named "Mommy's Time Out."

They look so cute!! We had a horrible morning (they mostly are - it's all paybacks... I was a beyotch in the mornings when I was little) and i was about at my wits end... then we were headed down the stairs to the car and I saw Essie and Gert and they had their backpacks on and they just looked so dang cute... and it turns out - they're worth the trouble in the morning.

But... some of that Mommy's Time Out could come in real handy... and it's after noon now so....

PG. If I was a wine drinker this would be the wine. I love PG.

Your kids look soooooo cute all dressed for school. Enjoy your 3 hours of childless bliss.....:) Let me know what it's like. It's gonna be another 2 years before I know.

I am so glad you have regained a little thinking time during the day. But, now that school is back in, I have lost my quiet daytime hours. Sigh.

I absolutely LOVE BATW, but I have been missing you! So fun to see pictures of your little girl, I know she doesn't like to be on the blog much. She's a doll. Congrats on the peace and quiet at home. Enjoy!

when my youngest, of 7!, headed off to kindergarten last year, my husband said that it was the beginning of the Year of Steph! and he was absolutely right! I told my friends to not even call me before noon for at least the first month because I was going back to bed...I had a lot of sleep deprivation to catch up on!

You didn't even need to tell us which Hunka-Hunka was yours. They're adorable.

Our day 2 was all that day 1 should have been. Yea!

I'm laughing at the comment ahead of me: "all the time in the world" goes by mighty fast, doesn't it?
