Every Sunday after church,

my Sweetie,

does the grocery shopping and brings me home these:

This husband of mine who serves me in so many ways is living proof of prayers answered all those years ago when I thought I would never find someone with whom I was evenly yoked. I won't say I'm "lucky" because as a born again Christian, I don't believe in "luck." What I believe, is that I am blessed beyond expectation and what I deserve by my Heavenly Father who made me wait and wait and wait until I was 33 years old to bring the one person He intended for me to walk beside in this crazy life. He was worth the wait, and the little things he does for me daily serve as that reminder.

And he is blessed to have YOU, I'm sure. Sweet, sweet, sweet post...and I love your admission on having to wait (and wait and wait!) on God to bring you His one for life. So many gals don't wanna do that nowadays, ya know?

p.s. I'll get my husband to one day guest-blog about seeing Jim Brickman in concert, the first year we were married. Front row, Jim on piano, Donny Osmond singing (including "The Gift,") and my sweet husband snoring his head off because he'd been on call the night before & was exhausted. I was EMBARRASSED. But I was still happy to be there!

I love this post!!! You are indeed loved and blessed, and he was worth the wait. God is so good. He answers the desires of our hearts, when we look to Him. What gorgeous roses for a gorgeous lady. I love this song too.

So happy for you.
I always find it SO refreshing when woman share about how thankful they are for their spouses...and also build them up. I make a practice of this regularly as well; particularly with friends who seem to be addicted to bashing their husbands at every turn. This is such a sad trend.
Thanks for the blessing.
(psst...I used that semi-colon wrong didn't I? and are you getting tired of my ...dotdotdots yet?)

Awww...what a sweet post. My husband is a keeper. But he'd never buy flowers at the grocery unless they were on the list. Or if he had a coupon. But I am so thankful for him. Because he does the shopping. Not me. Add it to my list :-)

Love this song. What a "gift" you have in your husband. In life, there is no such thing as "luck"...it's already been written in the book of life long before we were even in existence.

What a wonderful way to honor your husband and testify to the faithfulness of our God! Waiting for His best in our lives is always worth it. Your family seems so sweet. What a blessing!

Oh my gosh, this is just the sweetest! I've been in a 'mood' the last few days (don't want to give tmi); but yes, my hubby is pretty awesome as well. What a wonderful gift & blessing you have in each other :)

Many blessings,

Delurking! Found you through Heather.

I love kind husbands!

While it may seem like you waited... you also didn't settle. Good for you!

As a woman who prayed for her husband from age 12 and was brought to him at age 31 I can fully appreciate this sweet, sweet post of yours.

Our God is so GOOD to us! He is so faithful, never leaving our side, always with our best in mind.

The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. Lam 3:22-23

I just cried off my mascara.
