When was the last time your whole family slept this late? Especially Mommy and Daddy, who are usually woken up out of a dead sleep by small kids coming into their room? Wanting to play. Right. Now. Those of you with really little ones, just wait, it's coming. You will get to sleep in again, soon. I promise. It does happen. It did today. And I took a picture of the time to prove it to you.

LOL!
Hi, Debbie,
I don't know if you remember me, but I was briefly in Bible Study with you a few years ago at Linda Shoaff's house. I moved to Indiana not quite two years ago. I saw your picture on a comment at Holly's new blog and thought, "I know her!" So I decided to stop over and say hi! Your blog is lovely which does not surprise me! :)
Grace and Peace,
Angel
Can we trade places? That sounds heavenly!!!
Just checking in on you. Heard about all the nasty storms and flooding going on there, and wanted to make sure you'll be able to get out alright. I have another blogging friend in Dallas whose husband is a pilot for FlexJet--so maybe they can charter you a private flight out of there if necessary :). Hope all is well!
Angel..Of course I remember you and I headed to your place to give you a big cyber hug.
Jennifer...yes it has rained about 7 inches today. This wasn't in the plan since we are here to see my nephew play baseball. GRRRR! Thanks for checkin in!
Oh thanks alot, Debbie. Now I feel GUILTY because sickness swept through our family (again) this past week and our entire family slept until, not 8a, not 9a, but TEN a.m. Yep, you read that right, lol. I cannot remember the last time we slept past 7:30a (the adults, anyway). That clock photo? It's a beautiful thing. ;)
Blessings,
~Toni~
dreaming of the day I will be able to sleep in... oh what a wonderful day that would be!
It started when our youngest was about seven. At that point, the kids could get up on their own on Saturdays, make their own breakfast and not bother us. So we've been able to sleep in on Saturdays, but we usually never do...we always wake up around 7 or 7:30 and since we're both morning people, we get up before the kids are even up. But this weekend a really weird thing happened. We slept UNTIL TEN!!!! That has NEVER happened. I even had an appointment at 10:00 and never once considered setting an alarm or that I wouldn't be up long before then. It really does happen. :-)
Yeeeeehhhhh, Debbie and Hubby!!! Hope you have many more sleep-in days while away! :)
One of your best posts ever! This is what vacation is all about.
The latest we have managed since Noah was born was 8 a.m., not too shabby. Of course, that will come to a screeching halt next Friday.
