endless summer

Lindsey keeps asking when I am going to put out all of our fall decor, but it is really hard for me to do that when we have had weeks on end of 80 degree weather....and no end in sight. My flowers are still bright and colorful, however because we are under mandatory $500-per-infraction water restrictions, they are going to die this week...had to turn off the sprinklers. It is 83 degrees, sunny, clear blue skies right now. I like it, sort of. However, I am ready to wear longsleeves and maybe feel some crisp air. Last night when I took the trash out, it was balmy! The temp and the sounds outside made it sound like the middle of July not early October...freaky
