Last week the kids spent three and half days home from school because of a severe ice storm. The day they went back to school it was 56 degrees and stayed that way all week, long enough to melt the ice/snow. Feeling like we got cheated from winter, frigid temperatures but not alot of snow, the kids and I prayed for another snow storm. Alas, the Lord obliged! We woke to heavy snow fall this morning that was predicted to be more sleet/freezing rain. I took these pictures about an hour ago and the snow hasn't stopped! It is peaceful and beautiful....and I love it!
